Find prior work in Grok Bot

What you can find

Use search or the command palette to:

• Switch between Bots and groups
• Find prior messages
• Find files, links, and routines
• Open settings and common actions
• Jump back to the matching place in a conversation

If cross-conversation search is missing

Search availability can vary during rollout. If cross-conversation results are not available:

1. Open the relevant Bot from the sidebar.
2. Use that Bot’s conversation history to locate the message, file, or routine.

Pitfalls

• Palette search is for locating work you already have — it does not create a new Bot by itself (Cmd/Ctrl+N starts a new Bot / new chat).
• Hidden Bots stay reachable through the Hidden chats manager and Cmd/Ctrl+K even when they are off the sidebar list.
• Do not invent mobile-only shortcut keys; mobile search follows the in-app search UI on that platform.
