Share a Grok Bot
Share a public link when someone else should start from the same Bot. The link exposes the shared configuration (identity, description, skills, and routines), so remove API keys, internal URLs, and customer data first. Official guide: Work with Grok Bot → Share a Bot.
Before you copy the link
- Open the Bot you want to share.
- Strip API keys, internal URLs, and customer data from its identity, description, skills, and routines.
- Copy the share link.
The link is public. Anyone who has it can view that shared configuration.
What the recipient gets
The recipient adds a copy to their own account. They never get your computer, logins, or conversation history. Adding a shared Bot accepts the third-party bot terms shown at that point.
On the Teams plan and the Enterprise plan, admins control whether members can publish Bot templates publicly.

Pitfalls
- Treating the URL like a private invite — rotate keys if they were still in the description or a skill.
- Assuming the recipient inherits your computer or sessions — they get a configuration copy only.
- Hiding the Bot from the sidebar afterward — that does not pause its routines on your account.
