Share a Grok conversation, then kill the link

Grok can mint a public URL for one chat. Anyone with the link can read it. If you post that URL, search engines can index it.

Make the link

1. Open the conversation on grok.com.
2. Click Share in the top right, or the share icon under the conversation.
3. Copy the public URL.
4. On iOS or Android, tap the share icon under the conversation and copy the same kind of link.

Read the copied URL before you send it. The whole thread is on the other end, including anything you pasted.

Revoke it

1. Sign in on grok.com.
2. Open grok.com/share-links.
3. Click Remove next to the link you want dead.

Removing the link stops new visitors. Cached search results can linger until Google or Bing drop them.

Pitfalls

• A share link is public. Treat it like a paste you put on the open web.
• Revoke does not unsay a screenshot or a repost. If the chat had secrets, rotate those.
• Private Chat threads are the ones that never enter history. Share is for threads you already kept.
