Start an Imagine still from a template

Image 2.0 templates are packaged workflows. You supply the inputs the template asks for. Grok runs the job that is already configured.

Open a template

1. Go to grok.com/imagine.
2. Sign in if Grok asks.
3. Select Quality (v2.0).
4. Open Templates. Pick the job: headshot, product color, background, icon, merch.
5. Add the required inputs (a photo, a product shot, a subject). Fill every slot the template shows.
6. Generate. Keep those inputs. Change one instruction and generate again so you can compare.

When a template is the right start

• A headshot, a product color swap, or background removal already has a template. Use it, then magic-wand the one region that is still wrong.
• A world for video (character, locations, props) can be built still-by-still in the same style. Generate those pieces as separate stills, then animate later.

Pitfalls

• Templates still spend Imagine usage from the weekly pool. A retry is another generation.
• The template only does the job it was built for. A mascot template will not become a 16:9 hub still unless you resize after.
• Availability follows Quality Mode on grok.com/imagine, iOS, and Android. If Templates is missing, update the app and confirm Quality (v2.0).
