When Cafe24 or Doorro block the Bot cloud network

Use this when a Bot browser cannot stay on Cafe24 admin or Doorro because those sites close connections from the Bot cloud network, and you need the Bot to go out through your own PC. Turn on Route traffic through this computer. Keep Grok Bot open on that PC. There is no documented way to reach those sites with the PC off. Checked Oct 16, 2026.

Cursor staff (Colin) said on forum thread 174822 on Oct 15, 2026 that from Oct 12 to Oct 14 the Bots reached the sites through the reporter's PC using the Route traffic through this computer setting. Then that routing stopped, and shortly afterwards the bot computer was moved to a new server. Since then the bot browser connects through the cloud network instead. Cafe24 admin and Doorro close those connections.

Staff's steps: open Settings (Ctrl+,), then go to Computer, then Network. Turn on Route traffic through this computer. Keep Grok Bot open on that PC while your bots work. Routing only works while the app is running.

The server move is staff-cited in that thread. It is not in the docs or the changelog. There is no documented cloud or Korean route those sites accept.

The setting name conflict

This page uses the toggle label: Route traffic through this computer. That is also the changelog wording.

Official docs do not use one name. Settings and notifications puts it under the heading Route traffic through your desktop, in the Computer section, and says destinations see your desktop's IP address. Private networks lists Route egress through a desktop. The admin control is Allow Local Egress Routing. The heading, the table row, and the toggle label still disagree. This page names those sides and does not pick a single official name beyond the toggle.

The Network sub-step (Computer → Network) is staff-cited only. Docs say only Computer.

Turn the route on

  1. Open the Grok Bot desktop app on the PC whose network Cafe24 or Doorro already accept.
  2. Open Settings with Ctrl+, (or Cmd+, on a Mac).
  3. Open Computer. Staff also described a Network heading under Computer. Docs do not use that sub-heading.
  4. Turn on Route traffic through this computer (docs heading: Route traffic through your desktop).
  5. Keep Grok Bot running on that PC while the Bot works. Staff said routing only works while the app is running.

Leave the PC on. Closing the app or turning the PC off stops the route. The original reporter asked for a way to reach these sites with the PC off. Staff did not give one. This page does not promise PC-off access.

Enterprise admins can remove the option with Allow Local Egress Routing. How the route is supposed to work in the happy path: Route Grok Bot egress through your desktop. Private or split-horizon hosts are a different failure: When Route traffic rejects private or split-horizon DEV hosts.

Pitfalls

  • Expecting Cafe24 or Doorro to work with the PC off. Staff said the route only works while the app is running.
  • Inventing a Korean or cloud path those sites accept. None is documented.
  • Treating Computer → Network as a docs path. Staff described it; docs only say Computer.
  • Using one official name for the toggle. The heading, table row, and label still disagree.
