Does SuperGrok Heavy make Grok Bot faster than SuperGrok?
Use this when you're deciding whether SuperGrok Heavy is worth it for Grok Bot speed. Cursor’s Plans and billing page and Link SuperGrok for Grok Bot page rank individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, and SuperGrok Heavy by how much linked Grok Bot usage each grant. Heavy is the highest linked usage. Plus sits below Heavy. SuperGrok sits below Plus. The same tables describe Cursor Pro / Pro+ / Ultra the same way: weekly usage tiers on one Bot product.
Those pages do not publish a separate Bot model, a higher reasoning budget, lower latency, queue priority, or faster tool / computer execution for Heavy while both accounts still have allowance left.

Linking is a usage grant on your Cursor account. It does not replace a Cursor Pro / Pro+ / Ultra / Teams plan. If you already hold a Cursor plan that includes Bot and a SuperGrok link, both apply to the same Cursor account; the Bot FAQ’s dual-plan rule is to use whichever has more usage.

On forum thread 170664 (Sep 5, 2026), the OP posted a reply from Cursor’s AI Support Assistant: both plans use the same first-party models; Heavy does not add a more capable Bot model, extra reasoning compute, or multi-agent mode; there is “no documented lower latency, priority processing, or faster tool/computer execution” on Heavy inside allowance; Heavy’s documented advantage is the larger linked usage grant. The reply pointed at the Plans and Link SuperGrok help pages above.

How to decide in practice
- Open the Grok Bot plan screen and read the weekly / linked usage you actually have.
- If you hit the cap or on-demand limit, upgrade or wait for reset — that is the documented Heavy advantage.
- If both accounts still show remaining allowance and one Bot feels slower, treat it as load, network, or task size. Follow Understand Grok Bot usage and “Bot failed to respond” for overbooked / failed-to-respond waves.

Pitfalls
- The live Bot FAQ now says "you can link an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, or SuperGrok Heavy subscription" (docs.x.ai/grok-bot/faq, checked 2026-09-25), and the SuperGrok card on x.ai/pricing lists "Grok Bot access." The docs say "linked" where pricing says "included." Read both live pages for the account you hold.
- SuperGrok Team and SuperGrok Enterprise cannot link for Bot usage.
- A SuperGrok / X Premium+ link cannot be unlinked or moved to another Cursor account. Sign in with the right Cursor account before you link.
