Compare X Subscription plans (Free, Plus, Premium, Super, Ultra) and legacy SuperGrok
Use this when you are choosing an X Subscription tier or reading a leftover SuperGrok or Cursor plan name. Individual cards live on x.ai/pricing and cursor.com/pricing. The new Premium is not X Premium. The new Ultra is not the previous Cursor Ultra plan (Colin, staff, forum 174450 #11). Old plans are closed to new sign-ups and still live for existing subscribers. They were not renamed.

The live comparison matrix now shows Free, Plus, Premium, Super, Ultra, Teams, and Enterprise. Teams seats are Premium / Super / Ultra at $30 / $100 / $200 per seat. Plus is not available for teams. Enterprise is custom. Do not invent a Teams Plus seat.
What the new cards call out
Free is the $0 starting card.
Plus ($8/mo) is the first paid X Subscription card. Only Grok models are available on this plan. Plus does not include Grok Bot. Paid plans include Grok API access, billed separately at standard model rates. Grok API is not in the weekly usage pool (x.ai/pricing, checked 2026-10-14).
Premium ($30/mo) is published as the benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+, previously $90/month combined. It includes Grok Bot, latest Grok models, cloud agents, and third-party models in Cursor billed separately at API list prices through top-ups. Premium and up include full X Premium+ benefits.
Super ($100/mo) keeps the Premium-and-up set and adds priority at peak, with 15x included first-party usage.
Ultra ($200/mo) is a new plan with 50x included first-party usage and earliest access. It is not the previous Cursor Ultra plan.
Third-party models in Cursor are still available on Premium and above. They are not part of included usage, so they use credits from the first use. Official pages say "third-party models" and do not name vendors. Current Cursor plans keep their included third-party usage until you switch. Spending caps are available. Plus has no third-party models.
Grok Bot: new rule, plus leftover lists
New rule: Grok Bot is included on Premium, Super, and Ultra. Plus does not include it. Bot usage draws from that seat's shared weekly usage pool, not a separate additive pool.
Legacy lists still describe existing plans. The Bot FAQ still says Grok Bot is included with every paid individual Cursor plan and with Cursor Teams, and that you can link an individual SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, or SuperGrok Heavy subscription. Cursor's Plans and billing page still lists SuperGrok, SuperGrok Plus, SuperGrok Heavy, or X Premium+ as link options. Those leftover pages are for people who have not switched. Frame them as legacy vs new.

Weekly usage, X Premium, and whether you must switch
Each paid seat receives one weekly pool for eligible first-party usage only, across supported Grok and Cursor surfaces, shared rather than split. The pool covers Chat, Imagine, Voice, and Bot. The allowance refreshes weekly. Team seats do not share weekly pools. Grok API is not in the pool: paid plans include Grok API access, billed separately at standard model rates (x.ai/pricing, checked 2026-10-14). Third-party Cursor models do not draw from the included pool.
X Premium and X Premium+ remain X products for people who do not switch. On The X Subscription, Premium and up include full X Premium+ benefits. Switching cancels X Premium or Premium+ on the linked X account and issues an automatic prorated refund from The X Subscription flow.
Switching is optional. If you do not switch, your current plan continues. A completed switch is permanent and cannot be undone by Support. Unused time refunds to the original payment method, separately from the new full-price checkout. Cursor via the Apple App Store is not cancelled or refunded in that flow. Pitfalls
- Reading new Premium as X Premium, or new Ultra as old Cursor Ultra.
- Buying Plus for Grok Bot or for third-party models in Cursor.
- Treating leftover SuperGrok / Heavy / Lite / Business matrix rows as the live x.ai/pricing cards. Those names are gone from the new cards and still live only for existing subscribers.
- Assuming the weekly pool pays for Grok API or for third-party Cursor models. Grok API is billed separately at standard model rates.
