Share a conversation in a Grok Business team workspace
Grok Business team workspaces support secure sharing limited to active licensed team members. Official Grok.com User Guide (Sharing Conversations): share links open only for licensed members of that team. Links sent to non-team members or unlicensed teammates will not open.
Consumer public share links (anyone with the URL) and revoke at grok.com/share-links are covered in Share a Grok conversation, then kill the link. This page is the Business team path only.
Switch into the team workspace
- Sign in on grok.com with the account that holds your Business license.
- Use the workspace selector in the bottom-left navigation.
- Open the team workspace (not Personal). You need an active license for that team; if you lack access, contact your team admin.
- Confirm you are in the team workspace before you start or open the conversation you want to share.
Some organizations disable personal workspaces on an Enterprise license. If you only see the team workspace, that is expected for that org.
Share with licensed teammates
- Open the conversation inside the team workspace.
- Click the share control and select team members.
- Generate and distribute the secure link.
Only licensed team members can open it. Treat the link as team-internal, not a public paste.
Find conversations shared with you
Open history with the shared-with-me tab:
https://grok.com/history?tab=shared-with-me
That list is where shared team threads land for recipients.
Activate a license if the team workspace is missing
- Visit the Grok Business overview at console.x.ai.
- Press Assign license and select your license type.
- If you lack permissions, ask your team admin.
After activation, the team workspace becomes available on grok.com.
Pitfalls
- Sharing from the Personal workspace follows consumer share rules, not the team-only link behavior in this guide.
- An unlicensed teammate cannot open the team share link even if they sit in the same company email domain.
- Team workspace privacy and retention follow the Business / Enterprise terms for that workspace; read your org’s plan notes for Enterprise custom retention.
