Open Grok on grok.com so Projects and web features show up

The supported web address for the Grok website is grok.com. Open it in a standard Chrome or other Chromium browser. Some hosts such as grok.x.ai leave out features that already ship on grok.com, including Projects.

Use the supported host

  1. Close any tab that is still on grok.x.ai or another alternate host.
  2. Open https://grok.com in Chrome or Chromium.
  3. Sign in with the same Apple, Google, or X identity you use for SuperGrok.
  4. Confirm Projects and the rest of the web app are visible before you rebuild work you already started elsewhere.

Manage sign-in methods at accounts.x.ai if the subscription looks missing after you switch hosts. Link X under Settings → Account → Connect your X Account when Premium+ benefits should apply.

When a feature looks “gone”

If Projects, Settings pages, or other web controls are missing:

  1. Check the address bar. Stay on grok.com.
  2. Retry in an incognito window so extensions cannot rewrite the host or break cookies.
  3. Update the browser. The FAQ points people at a standard Chrome/Chromium install for the web app.

Mobile Grok (iOS / Android) is a separate client. Companions stay iOS-only. Grok Bot is a separate product with its own app. None of those replace the grok.com web host for Projects.

Pitfalls

  • Bookmark grok.com. A saved grok.x.ai link will keep dropping features.
  • Same account on every surface. A second login looks unsubscribed even when billing is fine. See Fix Grok login, activation prompts, and missing subscription.
  • Support cannot restore Projects on an unsupported host. Move the session to grok.com first.
