Use threads and reactions in Grok Bot

Reply in a thread

1. Open the Bot conversation that includes the result or approval card you care about.
2. Choose Reply on that specific message (or the matching approval / tool result).
3. Write the changed instruction, correction, or decision in the thread.

Threads keep the main transcript focused while preserving the context of the decision.

Use a reaction

React to a message for lightweight acknowledgement (for example that you saw a status update).

Use a written reply when the Bot needs a changed instruction. A reaction alone should not carry a safety-critical decision (approve spend, send mail, merge, or delete).

Pitfalls

• Do not treat a reaction as approval for Auto Review, spend, send, or merge.
