Pin, hide, or delete a Grok Bot

Official bot management: Pin keeps a Bot at the top of the sidebar; Hide from sidebar removes it from the main list without deleting work; Delete removes the Bot's active profile, conversation, and routines. Sources: Bots, Grok Bot FAQ.

Pin

Open the Bot menu and Pin active Bots you want at the top of the sidebar.

Hide (keep the work)

1. Open the Bot menu and choose Hide from sidebar.
2. To restore it, open Hidden Bots at the bottom of the sidebar (when every Bot is hidden, the sidebar shows Show Hidden Bots instead), then choose Unhide.

Hiding does not pause the Bot or its routines. Prefer hide when you may need the work later.

Delete

Deleting a Bot removes its active profile, conversation, and routines from Grok Bot. Shared computer files and sign-ins are not isolated by Bot and may remain on the computer. Backend retention follows the applicable Cursor terms.

If you may need the work later, hide the Bot instead of deleting it.

Pitfalls

• Hide ≠ pause. Routines on a hidden Bot can still fire.
• Delete does not wipe the shared cloud computer. Files and logins other Bots use may still be there.
• Duplicate a Bot when you want the same role as a starting point for a different scope; that path copies configuration, not conversation history.
