Check your weekly Grok usage and what happens at the cap

Paid SuperGrok plans share one weekly usage pool across Chat, Imagine, Voice, Build, and API. A chat message costs little. A high-quality video or a long coding job costs more.

Read the meter

1. Open Grok on the web or in the app.
2. Go to Settings → Usage.
3. Read the progress bar, the percentage by product (API, Build, Chat, Imagine, Voice), the weekly reset time, and any Extra Usage Credits.

The reset time is on that same tab. Use the product breakdown when Imagine or Build is eating the week.

At the cap

Paid features pause until the week resets. Free-tier Chat and Voice keep their own limits on a separate clock.

From the Usage tab on the web you can:

• Buy Extra Usage Credits (from $5). They apply after the included weekly pool is gone, and they expire one year after purchase unless the purchase page says otherwise.
• Turn on Auto Top Up with an amount and a monthly cap.
• Upgrade the plan for a larger weekly pool.

Extra Usage Credits are web-only right now. Mobile in-app purchase for credits is listed as coming later.

Pitfalls

• Extra Usage Credits cost more per action than the usage included in the plan. If you buy them every week, the FAQ's advice is to upgrade the plan.
• A SuperGrok purchase on the web lives on the account you paid with. Sign in with that same login on the phone or the app will look unsubscribed.
• Grok Bot usage is a separate pool from this SuperGrok weekly bar.
